GlusterFS 8 : Install2021/04/05

 
Install GlusterFS to Configure Storage Cluster.
It is strongly recommended to use partitions for GlusterFS volumes that are different from the / partition.
On this example, it is based on the environment that all nodes has [sdb1] and mount it to [/glusterfs].
[1] Install GlusterFS Server on all Nodes in Cluster.
[root@node01 ~]#
dnf -y install centos-release-gluster8
[root@node01 ~]#
sed -i -e "s/enabled=1/enabled=0/g" /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Gluster-8.repo
[root@node01 ~]#
dnf --enablerepo=centos-gluster8,powertools -y install glusterfs-server
[root@node01 ~]#
systemctl enable --now glusterd
[root@node01 ~]#
gluster --version

glusterfs 8.4

firewall-cmd --add-service=glusterfs --permanent
