Usermin : Install2018/11/30

Install Usermin that is web based configuration tool for users.
[1] Install required packages first.
apt -y install python apt-show-versions libapt-pkg-perl libauthen-pam-perl libio-pty-perl libnet-ssleay-perl
[2] Install Usermin.
curl -L -O http://www.webmin.com/download/deb/usermin-current.deb

dpkg -i usermin-current.deb

Selecting previously unselected package usermin.
(Reading database ... 97558 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack usermin-current.deb ...
Unpacking usermin (1.750) ...
Setting up usermin (1.750) ...
Usermin install complete. You can now login to https://dlp.srv.world:20000/
as any user on the system.
Processing triggers for systemd (237-3ubuntu10.9) ...
Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-20) ...

vi /etc/usermin/miniserv.conf
# add follows to the end (IP addess you allow to access)

# prohibit root login

systemctl restart usermin

[3] Start Web browser on localhost or on another client host on the network and access to [https://(server's hostname or IP address):20000/]. Then, Usermin site is displayed, login with a common account.
[4] This is the main page of Usermin. It's possible to manage various settings for your account.
[5] It's possible to change to your own language on [Usermin] - [Change Language].
