Configure vim2011/03/13

  Install and Configure vim that is more convenience than vi.

[1] Install vim
[root@dlp ~]#
yum -y install vim-enhanced

[2] Set command aliace. ( Apply to all users below. If you apply to a user, Write the same settings in '~/.bashrc' )
[root@dlp ~]#
vi /etc/profile


# last line: add

alias vi='vim'


[root@dlp ~]#
source /etc/profile
# apply new settings
[3] Configure vim. ( Apply to a user below. If you applly to all users, Write the same settings in '/etc/vimrc', some settings are applied by default though. )
[root@dlp ~]#
vi ~/.vimrc

" change colors for comments if it's set [ syntax on ]
