If you want to replace the SSL/TLS certificate automatically generated during Proxmox installation with a certificate you created or obtained yourself, configure it as follows. |

The SSL/TLS certificate automatically generated by Proxmox is valid for two years from the installation date. |

| [1] | Log in to the Proxmox VE management console as an administrator user, select your hostname in the left pane, and then select [Certificates] in the right pane. |

| [2] | Click the [Upload Custom Certificate] button at the top. |
|
| [3] | Upload the certificate and its corresponding private key. |
|
| [4] | The API server will automatically restart after you upload. |
|
| [5] | Wait a while, or reload your browser, and the web interface will appear with the new certificate. |
