While updating the system can be difficult after the server goes live, you should at least keep the system up-to-date during the initial setup after installation. |

| [1] | Log in to the Proxmox VE management console, select your hostname in the left pane, and click [Updates] from the menu on the left side of the right pane. |

| [2] | Clicking the [Refresh] button at the top will display a list of available updates. Clicking the [Upgrade] button will update the system. |

| [3] | Clicking the [Upgrade] button will open a new window. Press the [y] key to continue updating the system. |
|
| [4] | After updating the system, restart the system by clicking the [Reboot] button at the top. |
