To add a new user account to a Proxmox VE host, configure the settings as follows. |

| [1] | Log in to the Proxmox VE management console, select [Datacenter] in the left pane, and click [Users] from the menu on the left of the right pane. |

| [2] | Click the [Add] button at the top. |
|
| [3] | Enter the username and other details you want to add, then click [OK]. For the [Realm] item, select [Proxmox VE authentication server]. |

| [4] | Once successfully registered, it will appear in the list. |

| [5] | To grant administrator privileges, it needs to configure access permissions. Click [Permissions] in the menu on the left of the right pane, and then click [Add] - [User Permission] at the top. |

| [6] | To grant administrator privileges that allow you to fully operate Proxmox VE, select [/] for [Path], select [Administrator] for [Role], and click [OK]. |

| [7] | Once successfully registered, it will appear in the list. |
|
| [8] | Check if you can log in with the added user. |
