Create Virtual Machine#2
If you installed Desktop Environment, it's possible to create a Virtual machine on GUI.
This example shows to install Windows 10 on GUI.
|||Install required packages.|
dnf -y install virt-manager
|||Start Desktop and run 'Virtual Machine Manager'.|
|||Click 'New' button (it's just the PC-icon on upper-left) and open a wizard to create a new Virtual Machine.|
|||Specify the name of virtual machine and installation source. This example selects local media.|
|||Select Installation media or ISO image, and specify OS type and version. Windows 10 is not listed on it but it's possible to install to select Windows 8.1.|
|||Specify the amount of memories and number of virtual CPUs.|
|||Specify the amount of disks.|
|||Open 'Advanced options' and make sure the settings for networking or architecture are correct.|
|||Windows installer starts.|
|||Installation finished and Windows 10 is running.|
