Redis 6 : Install2022/07/04

 
Install Redis which is the In-memory Data structure store Software.
[1] Install Redis.
[root@dlp ~]#
dnf -y install redis
[2] Configure basic settings for Redis.
[root@dlp ~]#
vi /etc/redis/redis.conf
# line 75 : listening interface
# localhost only by default
# if you'd like to connect from other Hosts,
# change to the own IP address or set to [0.0.0.0]

127.0.0.1 -::1
# line 98 : listening port

# line 259 : daemonize setting
# if you use Redis as service daemon, turn to [yes]

# line 329 : number of Databases
# database ID is assigned from 0 to (setting value - 1)

# the default settings below means like follows
# after 900 sec if at least 1 key changed
# after 300 sec if at least 10 keys changed

systemctl enable --now redis

[3] If Firewalld is running and also you use Redis as a service Daemon, allow service.
[root@dlp ~]#
firewall-cmd --add-service=redis

firewall-cmd --runtime-to-permanent
