This is InfluxDB Basic User Management example.
[1] Add or delete InfluxDB users.
[root@dlp ~]#
influx -username admin -password adminpassword

Connected to http://localhost:8086 version 1.8.10
InfluxDB shell version: 1.8.10

# create [centos] user
# replace [userpassword] to any password
> create user centos with password 'userpassword' 

# create [serverworld] user with admin privilege
> create user serverworld with password 'userpassword' with all privileges 

> show users 
user        admin
----        -----
admin       true
centos      false
serverworld true

# add admin privilege to [centos] user
> grant all privileges to "centos" 

> show users 
user        admin
----        -----
admin       true
centos      true
serverworld true

# remove admin privilege from [centos] user
> revoke all privileges from "centos" 

# change [centos] user's password
> set password for "centos" = 'newpassword' 

# delete [centos] user
> drop user "centos" 

> exit
