MariaDB 10.2 : Replication2017/10/30

 
Configure MariaDB Replication settings. This configuration is general Master-Slave settings.
[1] Change settings and create a user for replication on MariaDB Matser Host.
[root@www ~]#
vi /etc/opt/rh/rh-mariadb102/my.cnf.d/mariadb-server.cnf
[server]
# add follows in [server] section : get binary logs

log-bin=mysql-bin
# define uniq server ID

server-id=101
[root@www ~]#
systemctl restart rh-mariadb102-mariadb
[root@www ~]#
mysql -u root -p

If Firewalld is running on Master Host, allow service like follows. But if Slave Host has also read accesses from other Clients, allow service on Slave Host, too, like follows.
[4] Change settings on Slave Host.

# define server ID (different one from Master Host)

[5] Get Dump-Data on Master Host.

# transfer the dump to Slave Host

[6] Configure replication settings on Slave Host. It's OK all, make sure the settings work normally to create databases on Master Host.
# import dump from Master Host
